Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth, but by washing away from it all that is not gold.

Transformation is a fundamental part of the human experience.  We either transform into our True Self by opening to the creative life we’ve been given or we mutate into something we were never meant to be.

The choice is ours and it’s a fundamental choice.  We either choose joy and happiness even in the midst of our suffering or we try and quell the pain of life by anesthetizing ourselves with the addiction-of-the-day.

But do we transform into something we move toward like a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly; or do we evolve on the inside into something we’ve always been like an oyster opening for the first time discovering the pregnant pearl that’s been part of its being all those years?

Perhaps it’s both.  We’re continually gaining deeper wisdom from each reflected experience while at the same learning to let go of the layers of self-defenses we’ve built up throughout the years in desperate search of love.

I suppose even death is a natural part of our transformation.  We’re constantly moving toward our death as we live, and when we die we return to the First Breath.

Game Plan:  Consider your own transformation. What is the wisdom your current life experiences are teaching you?  How are you evolving?
